Seeing Auras: Eye Exercises - #1 - Developing Eye Reaction Speed
The following exercise is intended to help you develop the natural ability to
see the aura.
The best position for this exercise is sitting,
though it can be effectively practiced in any position.
Preparation:
Ensure that you are completely relaxed before beginning this
exercise. You will need to save a copy of the image below; then print it out.
Make sure that you are seated comfortably in a room with low light or
candlelight. Place the sheet of paper with the dots on a table or flat surface
in front of you.
The Exercise:
Speed is important for this exercise. All you need to do is look from one dot to
the next. Try to avoid patterns. The most important thing is to continuously and
spontaneously change dots. By changing your focus from one dot to the next, you
will exercise your inner eye. The more you exercise your inner eye, the faster
and more accurately your vision will respond. This is very important in order to
see the more subtle colors around us. Eye reaction speed is the key here.
Eye Strain Warning:
Do not over do it. Work with this exercise for a minute or so at first. You
can cause eye strain if you work at it for too long in the beginning. If you
feel any strain at all, stop and take a few minutes to rest your eyes. Wait a
few days; then try the exercise again for a much shorter period of time.
Expectation of Results:
For some people it will only take a few weeks to notice interesting
results. Other people will find that it takes them longer. How fast you achieve
results will depend largely on you. Performing the exercises regularly is the
best way of obtaining results. Remember, pushing too hard will only slow you
down due to eye strain.
As you continue to practice this exercise and work your inner eye, you will begin
to notice a slight color shimmer around the black dots. This is normal and is an
indication that you eyes are responding to the exercises.
